IT Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia.

📋 Description

• Plan, oversee, and control IT team projects aimed at delivering technological solutions to the Ergomed business.

• Successfully deliver and transition systems and capabilities into operational environments within specified timelines and budgets.

• Define project scope, objectives, and criteria for success.

• Develop and finalize Project Initiation documentation.

• Create and manage project plans, governance structures, management procedures, and reporting artifacts.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, IT and Business QA teams, as well as external suppliers.

• Develop and oversee project budgets and work packages.

• Track project plans, milestones, work packages, and critical paths.

• Manage and authorize payments to third-party vendors upon milestone completion.

• Establish frameworks for project management, governance, and reporting.

• Provide updates on project progress, issues, and escalations.

• Secure business sign-off upon project completion.

• Facilitate the transition of projects into production alongside IT Service Operations and Technical Support.

• Ensure that project information is documented within business and IT systems for ongoing support and lifecycle management.

• Define ownership and timelines for resolving post-transition deliverables.

• Conclude projects and generate necessary closure documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.

• Demonstrated experience in managing IT projects across the entire project lifecycle.

• Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.

• Experience in managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and changes effectively.

• Excellent stakeholder engagement, supplier management, communication, and leadership abilities.

• Capability to lead cross-functional teams while managing competing priorities.

• Experience in transitioning systems or services into production settings.

• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or Microsoft Teams.

• Ability to manage multiple and diverse tasks enthusiastically while prioritizing workload with attention to detail.

• Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, or Scrum Master is preferred.

• Familiarity with ITIL and IT service management processes is preferred.

• Experience in a regulated industry, particularly in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, clinical research, or healthcare, is preferred.

• Understanding of system validation, data integrity, information security, and regulatory compliance is preferred.
