IT Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Strategize, oversee, and regulate IT projects that implement technology solutions for the Ergomed organization.

• Successfully deliver and transition systems and capabilities into operational and business settings within established timelines and budgets.

• Define project scope, objectives, and criteria for success in collaboration with stakeholders.

• Develop and finalize Project Initiation documentation.

• Create and oversee project plans, governance structures, management frameworks, and reporting artifacts.

• Engage with and manage business stakeholders, subject matter experts, IT and Business QA teams, as well as third-party vendors.

• Formulate and control project budgets and work packages.

• Track milestones, critical paths, risks, issues, changes, and overall project execution.

• Manage and approve milestone payments to third-party vendors.

• Establish frameworks for project management, governance, and reporting.

• Communicate project progress, challenges, and escalations effectively.

• Secure business approval upon project completion.

• Facilitate the transition of projects into production with IT Service Operations and Technical Support.

• Ensure that project information is entered into relevant business and IT systems for ongoing support and lifecycle management.

• Establish ownership and timelines for resolving post-transition deliverables.

• Conclude projects and generate necessary project closure documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

• Demonstrated experience in managing IT projects throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• In-depth knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.

• Proven experience in managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and changes.

• Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, supplier management, communication, and leadership.

• Capability to lead cross-functional teams and handle competing priorities effectively.

• Experience in transitioning systems or services into production environments.

• Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or Microsoft Teams.

• Ability to juggle multiple and diverse tasks while prioritizing workload with meticulous attention to detail.

• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.

• Project management certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, or Scrum Master are advantageous.

• Familiarity with ITIL and IT service management processes is preferred.

• Experience in a regulated sector, preferably pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, clinical research, or healthcare, is desirable.

• Understanding of system validation, data integrity, information security, and regulatory compliance is a plus.
