IT Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct IT projects from the initial planning stage through to implementation and final completion.

• Establish project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and milestones.

• Create and sustain comprehensive project plans and schedules.

• Coordinate efforts among cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, business analysts, consultants, and other technical personnel.

• Act as the main point of contact for all project stakeholders.

• Track project progress, budgets, timelines, and resource distribution.

• Identify, evaluate, and proactively manage project risks and dependencies.

• Facilitate project meetings, provide status updates, and communicate with stakeholders.

• Monitor and report on project performance to both management and clients.

• Manage any alterations to project scope, requirements, and priorities.

• Ensure project documentation remains accurate and current.

• Coordinate testing, implementation, deployment, and project closure activities.

• Assist in resolving issues and eliminating roadblocks to ensure project continuity.

• Ensure that projects fulfill business requirements, adhere to quality standards, and meet client expectations.

• Continuously enhance project management processes and methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Project Management or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience in managing technology or software-related projects.

• Strong grasp of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.

• Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.

• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Capability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines concurrently.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Comfortable interfacing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar platforms.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

• PMP, CAPM, CSM, or other project management certifications are a plus.

• Experience in a SaaS, software, consulting, ERP, or technology setting is advantageous.

• Experience managing client-facing projects is a plus.

• Background in software implementation or systems integration projects is desirable.

• Technical expertise or experience working closely with development teams is beneficial.

• Experience working in a fully remote setting is a plus.
