IT Project Management Principal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate ERP implementations

• Guarantee uniformity and effectiveness throughout the organization

• Utilize ERP knowledge and project management best practices to adhere to deadlines, budgets, and quality benchmarks

• Take proactive measures, make decisions, and tackle challenges during the implementation phases

• Facilitate organizational transformation to encourage user adoption

• Deliver on-site training and assistance

• Develop and apply project management processes and methodologies tailored for the IT sector

• Manage both technical and non-technical facets of projects

• Strategically plan, schedule, and ensure projects are completed on time

• Formulate IT project teams and oversee resource allocation along with daily project operations

• Act as a communication bridge between team members and management concerning IT projects

• Integrate quality measures and standards into project outputs

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's Degree along with 8-10 years of experience OR a comparable combination of relevant education and/or experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Strong comprehension of information technology

• Familiarity with change management principles

• Understanding of fit/gap analysis

• Knowledgeable in project administration and controls

• Acquainted with project documentation and implementation processes

• Experience with project lifecycle management (PLM)

• Skilled in project planning, scheduling, scoping, and managing scope

• Proficient in stakeholder management and technical project management

• Understanding of budgetary controls

• Familiar with project management software

• Experience with SAP, Oracle, and/or IFS ERP systems

• Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM, PSM, etc.)

• Experience in the aerospace and defense sector is advantageous

• Ability to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended durations

• Primarily work in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard risks
