This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Supervise the configuration, deployment, and daily functioning of internal IT systems and employee hardware.
• Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for IT, which includes creating accounts, allocating licenses, configuring access, revoking access, and recovering hardware.
• Set up, deploy, and maintain corporate laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices.
• Administer Google Workspace and Office 365, including Teams and Outlook services.
• Ensure accurate inventory management and oversee the hardware lifecycle.
• Act as the primary helpdesk contact via Jira Service Management, addressing hardware, software, and corporate network issues.
• Manage JumpCloud for identity, access, and device management across both PC and Mac environments.
• Implement endpoint security policies and conduct audits on laptops using Elastic Security and Elastic Fleet.
• Develop and maintain internal user guides and IT standard operating procedures in Confluence.
• Provide assistance with on-site IT infrastructure, office networking, VPN access, and audiovisual equipment for conference rooms.
• Support the Cloud Ops team with various tasks as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotations outside of regular hours.
• A Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Support, or equivalent experience is required.
• 2-3 years of experience in a technical support, helpdesk, or corporate IT operations position is essential.
• Practical experience managing Windows, Linux, and macOS in a corporate setting is necessary.
• Familiarity with the Atlassian suite (Jira, JSM, Confluence) or similar task management, ticketing, and documentation platforms is preferred.
• Understanding of corporate networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi-Fi is required.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure services like AWS or its equivalents is advantageous.
• Acquaintance with database management systems including RDS, MongoDB, Redis, or Elastic is beneficial.
• Comprehension of IT security principles, particularly the CIA triad, is important.
• Experience in implementing endpoint protection, access controls, and system patching is necessary.
• Capability to monitor security anomalies, analyze alerts, and engage in incident response is required.
• Familiarity with phishing defense, Identity Access Management (IAM), and password security enforcement is beneficial.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are required.
• A keen interest in AI tools and their application in enhancing organizational services is preferred.
• Proficiency in French, whether professional or native, is considered a plus.
