IT Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Address IT requests related to access, security, equipment, and internal platform management.

• Provide support for Apple hardware, macOS, Google Workspace, Iru/Kandji, Slack, Atlassian, 1Password, and associated tools.

• Tackle engineering challenges concerning operational efficiency and compliance.

• Build relationships throughout the organization to comprehend department-specific support requirements.

• Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees in cooperation with People Operations and hiring managers.

• Develop, maintain, and revise documentation.

• Collaborate with both domestic and international hardware suppliers.

• Coordinate preboarding and the day-one experience for new hires.

• Execute support models and security protocols set forth by the Senior System Administrator.

• Work alongside teams managing various components of the company's technology ecosystem.

• Maintain a work schedule of 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EDT, with occasional minor after-hours support and rare early starts following significant system updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in an IT Support position.

• Proven track record of supporting global IT Operations internal stakeholders.

• Comprehensive understanding of Apple hardware and macOS.

• In-depth knowledge of Google Workspace, Iru/Kandji, and Slack.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Customer-centric approach.

• Strong troubleshooting abilities with a systematic method.

• Capability to convey technical concepts to non-technical individuals.

• Proficiency in resolving colleagues’ support issues promptly and accurately.

• Background check required as part of the pre-employment process.

• Familiarity with scripting and/or automation, particularly the GAM command-line utility, is advantageous but not mandatory.
