IT Operations Analyst – Junior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Continuously oversee cloud environments, encompassing infrastructure, applications, and services.

• Proactively identify failures and outages utilizing Zabbix, Grafana, and various observability tools.

• Initiate, classify, and direct incidents following established workflows.

• Conduct preliminary analyses of events and alerts by correlating metrics and logs.

• Monitor technical tickets until resolution in collaboration with N2/N3 teams.

• Provide guidance to users and technical teams during escalation processes.

• Address low- and medium-complexity events by leveraging the knowledge base and operational procedures.

• Record actions taken and maintain comprehensive incident documentation.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the technical knowledge base, procedures, scripts, and support workflows.

• Aid in the validation of new monitoring setups and the onboarding of applications and systems into Zabbix alongside SRE/CloudOps.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with Zabbix (mandatory).

• Familiarity with Prometheus or Grafana is advantageous.

• Understanding of observability, as well as metric and log analysis, and application behavior.

• Basic knowledge of cloud computing platforms (Huawei, Azure, or GCP).

• Proficiency in Linux and Windows Server operating systems.

• Experience in opening and managing tickets using Jira, OTRS, GLPI, or similar tools.

• Capability to comprehend and respond to triggers, thresholds, and dashboards.

• Fundamental knowledge of networking, infrastructure, and connectivity.

• Zabbix certification or training (Admin/User) is a plus.

• LPIC-1 or equivalent certification is a plus.

• Introductory cloud courses (Huawei, Azure, or GCP) are a plus.

• Willingness to work a 12x36 shift schedule.
