IT Operations Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Develop, manage, and enhance UpGuard’s technology platform.

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of corporate technology, which includes identity management, endpoints, SaaS, and service practices.

• Automate repetitive tasks and refine operational processes.

• Manage Google Workspace, Okta or a similar identity provider, and MDM across a predominantly macOS and ChromeOS environment.

• Take charge of SaaS administration, lifecycle management, asset oversight, endpoint compliance, and joiner–mover–leaver procedures.

• Operate and enhance Cloudflare Zero Trust across ZTNA, Secure Web Gateway, DNS filtering, tunnels, and identity- and device-aware access policies.

• Ensure secure access to internal applications and services while resolving access and connectivity issues.

• Develop internal tools utilizing REST APIs, Python, Apps Script, Terraform, n8n, and AI-assisted workflows.

• Oversee incident management, problem resolution, change processes, service catalogs, knowledge bases, service metrics, capacity planning, and operational readiness.

• Establish and refine service operations practices.

• Maintain zero-touch provisioning, endpoint compliance, fleet health, monitoring, reporting, SaaS governance, and self-service capabilities.

• Implement and uphold security measures, strengthen endpoints, assist with security incidents, mitigate operational risks, and maintain up-to-date baselines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in administering Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, an identity provider such as Okta or Entra, and MDM at an organizational level.

• Proficient in SSO, SAML, SCIM, DNS, and certificate management.

• Practical experience with ZTNA, Secure Web Gateway, or contemporary network access controls.

• Comfortable taking ownership of an existing Cloudflare Zero Trust setup, troubleshooting, and enhancing it.

• Proficiency in coding with Python, Apps Script, or similar languages.

• Confidence in working with REST APIs.

• Experience in developing internal tools that eliminate repetitive tasks.

• Familiarity with macOS at scale, zero-touch provisioning, and endpoint compliance baselines.

• Background in managing incident and change processes, defining metrics, and creating effective documentation.

• Knowledgeable in endpoint hardening, identity security, DNS, certificates, secure network access, and assessing risk trade-offs.

• Possess a process improvement mindset.

• Willingness to complete a national police history check and reference checks prior to commencing work.
