This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Take charge of the IT roadmap, priorities, and operational processes.
• Establish measurable objectives, coordinate dependencies, and communicate updates, risks, and resource requirements to stakeholders.
• Manage Okta, identity governance, HRIS identity integration, and automated provisioning and deprovisioning.
• Ensure reliable identity data, role-based access, SSO integrations, and conduct access review processes in collaboration with Security and People Operations.
• Oversee the reliability, configuration, and lifecycle management of the SaaS portfolio and managed devices, including Google Workspace and Jamf.
• Maintain asset records, ensure device compliance, manage application ownership, and uphold appropriate data handling practices.
• Handle onboarding, role transitions, and offboarding processes in conjunction with People Operations.
• Define responsibilities, approval processes, and fulfillment procedures for employee lifecycle activities.
• Establish support priorities, response and resolution objectives, and escalation pathways.
• Monitor backlog, service performance, and recurring issues.
• Resolve complex incidents and address underlying causes.
• Create IT processes, documentation, and operational standards that facilitate consistent execution and scalability within the organization.
• Provide technical advice, establish best practices, and ensure critical workflows are adequately documented and have appropriate backup coverage.
• Design and implement reliable workflows using APIs, scripting, Okta Workflows, and platforms like n8n.
• Manage IT vendors, handle renewals, licensing, and collaborate with Finance and the Head of Infosec & GRC for spend planning.
• Utilize service metrics, SaaS usage, and device compliance data to inform investment and improvement decisions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, People Operations, Security, and Finance teams.
• Provide support coverage as needed while making capacity constraints and project impacts transparent.
• Report directly to the Head of Infosec & GRC.
• 5+ years of experience in IT systems, identity, or SaaS administration, showcasing ownership of services or programs in a growing technology environment.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Okta administration, Workflows, Identity Governance, SSO integrations, and automated identity lifecycle management.
• Proven track record in setting priorities, coordinating stakeholder engagement, and executing cross-functional projects.
• Experience in supervising or mentoring support staff and delegating tasks with clear accountability.
• Demonstrated ownership of SaaS administration, licensing, integrations, and data governance.
• Practical knowledge of Jamf Pro and Google Workspace Admin in Mac and Chromebook environments.
• Proficiency in APIs and scripting languages such as Python, shell scripting, or Google Apps Script.
• Experience in building, troubleshooting, and maintaining operational workflows.
• Ability to define support processes, service targets, asset management controls, and effective operational metrics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong prioritization abilities, and the capability to explain trade-offs, resolve conflicting needs, and identify risks early.
• Preferred: experience in building or leading a small IT function within a growing SaaS organization.
• Preferred: knowledge of Cloudflare ZTNA and other secure access solutions.
• Preferred: experience in supporting SOC 2, HITRUST, or similar assurance programs through IT controls, documentation, and evidence collection.
• Preferred: familiarity with zero-trust environments and modern endpoint security tools.
• Preferred: experience integrating HRIS data with identity platforms and automating employee lifecycle processes.
• Preferred: experience with n8n or similar workflow platforms, SaaS consolidation, and transitions from fragmented automation tools.
