This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +2 more countries.
• Lead, mentor, and develop an agile team of IT engineers.
• Establish priorities, resolve challenging issues, and manage complex or escalated problems hands-on.
• Oversee Okta identity and access management, encompassing lifecycle, integrations, and daily administration.
• Administer macOS and Apple devices along with endpoint tooling throughout the organization.
• Propel the integration of data, automation, and AI within IT operations.
• Identify tools and agents that minimize manual tasks and enhance support.
• Define and manage IT’s operational cadence, including support tools, SLAs, and improvement metrics.
• Supervise the IT budget and vendor relationships.
• Assess expenditures, negotiate commercial agreements, and manage a diverse multi-department SaaS portfolio.
• Execute and uphold foundational security and resilience practices, including CIS Benchmarks, patch management, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with the broader Security team on security engineering issues.
• Translate departmental requirements into IT capabilities and serve as a liaison between IT and the broader organization.
• Proven experience in leading or managing a technical IT team.
• Demonstrated success in developing team members and achieving outcomes.
• Strong grounding in systems administration and infrastructure principles.
• Comfortable acting as an escalation point for intricate issues.
• Practical experience operating an IAM platform in a production environment, preferably Okta.
• Familiarity with IAM lifecycle automation and integrations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of macOS and Apple hardware.
• Experience managing Apple devices in a corporate or enterprise setting, ideally using Iru or a similar tool.
• Experience utilizing AI, automation, data, or workflows to enhance team operations.
• Background in managing budgets and vendor partnerships.
• Proficient in evaluating costs, negotiating terms, and optimizing tool or platform usage.
• Experience overseeing IT projects from inception to delivery and stakeholder reporting.
• Understanding of fundamental security and compliance principles.
• Effective communication with both technical and non-technical senior stakeholders.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
