IT Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead the company's initiatives to achieve and uphold SOC2 compliance.

• Plan and implement internal IT projects, encompassing system migrations, deployments, and workflow improvements.

• Collaborate with People Ops to enforce IT security policies across the organization and spearhead data security training and compliance efforts.

• Manage relationships with vendors supplying hardware and enterprise software.

• Provide technical assistance to team members in the US and India across various platforms and applications.

• Establish and maintain IT ticket resolution processes and ensure internal customer satisfaction.

• Oversee identity and access management, as well as single sign-on systems for company software like Asana, Google Workspace, and Slack.

• Handle the complete IT hardware lifecycle, which includes procurement, configuration, deployment, tracking, and decommissioning.

• Implement automated workflows for IT onboarding and offboarding processes.

• Maintain the IT Asset Management inventory, which includes laptop assignments, software licenses, and hardware upgrades.

• Optimize the allocation of software licenses to minimize operational costs.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of practical IT support/sysadmin experience along with relevant educational background.

• Demonstrated experience in supporting distributed teams across various time zones, particularly in the US and India.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities with a strong customer-service orientation.

• Proven experience in managing devices and ensuring data security within an organization.

• Keen attention to detail, willingness to seek clarification, and a proactive approach to learning and improvement.

• Positive demeanor, openness to constructive feedback, and a commitment to team success.

• Skills in development along with experience and/or certifications in Salesforce are advantageous.

• Familiarity with SOC2 and Google data security protocols.

• Previous experience in a U.S.-based company is preferred.
