IT Infrastructure Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and manage the IT infrastructure team to guarantee the reliability and performance of all IT systems.

• Supervise the design, implementation, and upkeep of IT infrastructure, encompassing servers, storage, networks, and cloud environments.

• Create and enforce infrastructure policies, procedures, and best practices to uphold high security and compliance standards.

• Monitor system performance, detect bottlenecks, and execute improvements.

• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for infrastructure-related products and services.

• Ensure that effective disaster recovery and data backup procedures are established for all systems.

• Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to synchronize infrastructure capabilities with business objectives.

• Oversee infrastructure budgets, track expenditures, and optimize resource utilization.

• Remain informed about the latest technological advancements to ensure the infrastructure remains contemporary and efficient.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Over 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position.

• Demonstrated experience with infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage, networking, and cloud platforms.

• Strong knowledge of security protocols and compliance standards.

• Experience with implementing and managing G Suite, Slack, password management tools, Atlassian products, CMS tools, and Google Analytics.

• Exceptional project management abilities and experience in overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, emphasizing team development.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Cisco, AWS, VMware) are advantageous.
