IT Infrastructure Installation Services II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Oversee hardware provisioning, advanced RAID setups, and optimization of disk arrays for enterprise-level physical security systems.

• Set up and verify Dell iDRAC, Lifecycle Controller, firmware standards, and Dell OpenManage configurations.

• Install Windows Server and secure Linux operating systems utilizing PXE boot or iDRAC Virtual Media.

• Create and execute VLAN and subnet segmentation strategies for CCTV, PIDS, and Intercom traffic.

• Configure Cisco Catalyst QoS policies to support high-bandwidth video streams.

• Manage PoE/PoE+ power allocation and monitoring for IP cameras, door readers, and security panels.

• Strengthen Cisco IOS devices through ACLs, service deactivation, and secure SSH/HTTPS management.

• Collaborate with Network Engineers and Physical Security Installation Teams to ensure network readiness and effective device-to-server communication.

• Conduct validation testing for bandwidth, physical-layer distance, and latency prior to operational handoff.

• Generate as-built documentation, topology diagrams, VLAN matrices, IP records, and configuration backups.

• Offer 24x7 technical support, root cause analysis, and remedial actions for medium-complexity issues.

• Provide weekly project status updates and ensure accuracy in programming sheets, documentation, and asset management.

• Mentor junior engineers and work with cross-functional teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of practical experience in deploying enterprise server and network infrastructure.

• Extensive knowledge of Dell PowerEdge servers, PERC/RAID controllers, iDRAC, firmware oversight, and Lifecycle Controller.

• Proficient in Cisco Catalyst switches, VLANs, QoS, PoE, and securing IOS systems.

• Experience in deploying, administering, and troubleshooting Windows Server and Linux within enterprise environments.

• Familiarity with Python, PowerShell, and automation tools for configuration management and deployment.

• Capability to provide 24x7 rotational support in globally distributed settings.

• Strong collaboration skills across technical teams and experience mentoring junior engineers.

• Experience with Dell OpenManage, PXE boot infrastructure, iDRAC Virtual Media, Cisco IOS CLI, Ansible, CMDB systems, configuration backups, network monitoring, bandwidth/latency testing, and documentation/diagramming tools.

• Annual base salary ranging from €50,640.00 to €63,300.00 gross.
