IT Governance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and uphold IT policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards in accordance with ITIL best practices.

• Collaborate with application developers, business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and external vendors to enhance performance, processes, and overall data integrity.

• Design and implement policies and procedures to ensure optimal system performance and alignment with company objectives, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Ensure that all environments are effectively managed and maintained to comply with service level agreements.

• Assess IT controls concerning access management, change management, incident response, and service management.

• Oversee IT governance processes and controls, suggesting enhancements for efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and address recurring issues in collaboration with technical and business leaders.

• Report and address challenges in incident, service request, problem, and change management resolutions.

• Coordinate incident response activities and conduct reviews of corrective actions.

• Evaluate the impact of proposed changes on IT governance policies, procedures, and controls.

• Develop, maintain, lead, and communicate Major Incident Management processes and deliverables.

• Perform additional duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience is required.

• ITIL Certification is preferred.

• 1-3 years of technical experience in information technology or computer science.

• Experience in leading a team of analysts managing an Enterprise Service Suite.

• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proven expertise in Business Process Mapping techniques.

• Experience collaborating with business subject matter experts to gather process details and work instructions.

• Demonstrable skills in requirements gathering and documentation.

• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

• Familiarity with the ITIL framework.

• Knowledge of the Agile framework.

• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.

• Ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues.
