IT Epic Clinical Informatics Trainer – Epic MST Build Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Guide providers, RNs, MAs, PSRs, and other users through their specific Epic EMR applications.

• Inform users about application upgrades and modifications.

• Train and assist departmental users in customizing and optimizing applications.

• Offer performance consulting to ensure optimal usage of Epic applications.

• Deliver Epic training to newly hired Carle employees and provide individual optimization support.

• Collaborate with the IT Build Team throughout the design, build, and validation phases.

• Create training plans and learning objectives based on roles and disciplines.

• Develop Epic training environments, participant materials, and practical exercises.

• Organize, schedule, and execute training sessions.

• Provide ongoing support and assess training outcomes.

• Offer specialized training and resources for departmental Super Users.

• Act as a resource for Super Users and departmental leaders, especially during Go-Lives.

• Supply training, tools, and materials to assist with Meaningful Use compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess Epic MST Build experience.

• Epic Certification - EPIC required.

• Valid Illinois driver's license issued by the Illinois Secretary of State.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems Technologies, Education, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Experience in learning and development is essential.

• Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Must ensure accurate Epic documentation and adherence to Meaningful Use compliance.
