IT Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the digital onboarding process for employees, which includes equipment orders, management, account setup, and provisioning.

• Handle software and hardware vendor relationships, encompassing research, sourcing, and procurement.

• Keep track of the global inventory for laptops and licensed software.

• Act as the primary contact for access, configuration, and support of company-wide SaaS and deployed systems.

• Aid in the management and transformation of cloud infrastructure and networking solutions.

• Administer VPNs and other systems with restricted access.

• Assist with business and technology experiments that involve new technologies, tools, processes, and methodologies.

• Contribute to managing and enhancing compliance frameworks and certifications such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR.

• Represent Bitwarden in the SecOps field and broader community through participation in forums, conferences, articles, and customer support.

• Engage in interviews alongside Recruiting, the Head of Information Security, and the team.

• Proven experience managing equipment and software for a distributed, remote, and decentralized global workforce.

• Demonstrated experience in implementing and refining IT and security compliance frameworks.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality, manage sensitive information, and uphold security best practices.

• Keep abreast of trends and emerging technologies.

• Possess a collaborative and adaptable approach.

• Outstanding communication skills.

• A passion for open source and improved internet security.

• Strong problem-solving abilities.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with Bitwarden.

• Nice to have: Experience in rolling out and supporting MDM tools across macOS, iOS, Windows, and Android.

• Nice to have: Knowledge of Azure and best practices in cloud infrastructure, operations, monitoring, and maintenance.
