IT Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Conducting complex data analyses to support the development of new products and services as well as the implementation of strategic performance enhancement projects.

• Assessing data quality by identifying issues and recommending improvement solutions.

• Proactively evaluating and identifying data quality indicators.

• Collaborating with teams and individuals within the company to develop requirements for consolidating strategic data.

• Interpreting data and preparing summaries of findings and observations.

• Communicating results through presentations and reports.

• Integrating and correlating data from various IT systems.

• Identifying data extraction methodologies and mapping them to IT system requirements.

• Transforming internal and external data requirements into a usable product with actionable results.

• Performing other related tasks as appropriate based on knowledge and skills.

⛳️ Requirements

• Higher education in Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering.

• Knowledge of data modeling and analysis.

• Familiarity with database querying tools such as SQL, Java, or C++ is an advantage.

• Demonstrable strategic thinking skills regarding business, products, and technical challenges in a business environment.

• Good understanding of the gas and electricity market in Romania is a plus but not mandatory.

• Strong proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Access.

• Knowledge of data analysis techniques.

• Proficient in English.

• Knowledge of German is an advantage.

• Skills in inductive and deductive analysis, problem identification, and information organization.

• Ability to solve complex problems and analyze and evaluate systems.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation abilities, and documentation skills, including the preparation of technical specifications and the presentation of functionalities.
