IT Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate IT environments to uncover areas for enhancement and optimization, focusing on specific challenges and working towards effective solutions.

• Formulate and/or execute technology strategies that align with business goals.

• Provide guidance on software, hardware, and network solutions to boost operational efficiency.

• Assist in the integration, configuration, and deployment of IT systems and applications.

• Maintain system security, ensure data integrity, and adhere to industry compliance standards.

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to establish project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and suggest innovations when applicable.

• Handle, safeguard, and share patients’ protected health information strictly in line with HIPAA regulations.

• Comprehend and abide by Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures.

• Limit access to PHI to what is minimally necessary to complete assigned tasks.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience in IT consulting, systems administration, or a comparable technical position.

• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, networking, and cybersecurity.

• Capability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with diverse teams.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all organizational levels.

• Excellent problem-solving and creative abilities; capable of exercising sound judgment and making decisions based on accurate and timely information.

• High degree of integrity and reliability, coupled with a strong sense of urgency and results-driven focus.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Must have a smartphone or electronic device that can download applications for multifactor authentication and security purposes.
