IT Clinical Informatics Trainer, Enterprise

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver Epic training sessions for newly hired employees at Carle.

• Offer personalized Epic optimization support to individuals.

• Collaborate with the IT Build Team throughout the design, build, and validation phases.

• Create training plans and establish learning objectives tailored to roles, disciplines, and workflows.

• Develop Epic training environments, materials for participants, and practical exercises.

• Organize, schedule, and execute training sessions.

• Provide follow-up support after training sessions.

• Assess and measure the outcomes of training initiatives.

• Deliver specialized training and resources for departmental Super Users.

• Act as a resource for Super Users and departmental leaders concerning EMR applications and Go-Lives.

• Equip users with training, tools, and materials to ensure compliance with Meaningful Use standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• EPIC certification is required.

• Must possess an Illinois driver's license issued by the Illinois Secretary of State (ILSOS).

• A Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Technologies, Education, or a related field is required.

• Relevant work experience may substitute for formal education.

• Prior experience in learning and development is essential.

• Capability to orient providers, RNs, MAs, PSRs, and other users to Epic electronic medical record applications.

• Proficiency in educating users about application upgrades and modifications.

• Ability to train and support departmental Super Users effectively.

• Competence in providing performance consulting to ensure optimal utilization of Epic applications.
