This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.
• Collaborate with business and APS managers to collect and prioritize data and information needs.
• Create, develop, and maintain business intelligence applications and their architecture.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical challenges impacting BI tool performance.
• Establish and execute strategies for data filtering and indexing.
• Manage the metadata repository by adding, updating, and removing data.
• Oversee and support processes and controls to ensure data integrity.
• Engage in planning, technical design, development, testing, and delivery of BI solutions.
• Collaborate with internal clients and IT partners to gather requirements.
• Create and document business requirements for solution design.
• Analyze and evaluate commonly utilized queries and reports.
• Assist in the creation of end-user training materials.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Two (2) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
• Working technical knowledge acquired through experience in a job area or system.
• Proficient in Power BI and other business intelligence tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Familiarity with business intelligence database structures, algorithms, best practices, and auditing mechanisms.
• Understanding of data warehousing and performance concepts common to complex business intelligence tools.
• Knowledge of change control and methodologies related to business intelligence agility and performance tuning practices.
• Experience with complex SQL queries and BI products such as Tableau, Business Objects, and Oracle.
• Understanding of data warehouse components, dimensions, hierarchies, fact tables, and aggregates.
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS.
• Knowledge of specialized visualization tools and database/statistical programming languages, such as SQL or R.
• Employees are expected to reside in Arizona or New Mexico for Four Corners-based employees.
• Some positions may necessitate U.S. person status under U.S. Export Control Laws.
