This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, innovate, and implement solutions aimed at enhancing systems and processes.
• Advocate for customers by understanding their business needs and pinpointing opportunities for improvement and productivity.
• Evaluate analytical requirements and decide on the best course of action.
• Manage relationships among project teams to facilitate effective solutions.
• Maintain a strong grasp of database structures and business intelligence tools to develop analytical solutions.
• Act as the initial point of contact for data analytics and process enhancement.
• Conduct data analysis and create queries, programs, and automation workflows.
• Ensure that the reported data is both meaningful and accurate through the use of analytical techniques.
• Utilize Tableau, Microsoft Office Suite, SAP products, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Lead the gathering of data requirements for problem identification, resolution, and solution design.
• Provide analytical insights that drive strategic business decisions.
• Coordinate projects and identify necessary cross-functional teams for successful completion.
• Review, document, and escalate issues, barriers, and risks to management.
• Offer project and task coordination services to clients.
• Manage workload, deadlines, quality, expectations, scope changes, and deliverables effectively.
• Implement project modifications in accordance with change-control policies and procedures.
• Communicate the nature, significance, and risks associated with projects to all relevant parties.
• Engage in post-implementation project reviews.
• Gather customer requirements and transform business needs into actionable solutions.
• Participate in training, professional development, team-building activities, and group problem-solving initiatives.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Write and optimize complex DAX for accurate and efficient metrics.
• Design reusable semantic models in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Apply data governance and security measures.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and views for reporting extraction and transformation.
• Master’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or Hospital Administration, OR a bachelor’s degree in the specified fields with 4 years of data analytics experience.
• 4 years of data analytics experience may replace the need for the required degree.
• EPIC official designation of “Proficient” within the new hire probationary period.
• 1 year of experience with relational database structures, including design, testing, troubleshooting, and/or training, in line with the master’s degree pathway.
• 1 year of experience in data analysis and/or healthcare planning corresponding to the master’s degree pathway.
• 1 year of experience with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports as part of the master’s degree pathway.
• Experience with SQL/Oracle and/or Business Objects.
• 2 years of experience with relational database structures, including design, testing, troubleshooting, and/or training, aligned with the bachelor’s degree pathway.
• 2 years of experience in data analysis and/or healthcare planning following the bachelor’s degree pathway.
• 2 years of experience with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports in accordance with the bachelor’s degree pathway.
• Internal employees must meet all mandatory competencies in their current position to qualify for promotion within IT.
• Familiarity with supported applications is preferred.
• Capability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team with multidisciplinary groups and facilitate meetings.
• Proficient reading and comprehension skills; ability to type and write legibly in English.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and make independent decisions.
• Capability to work under high stress, adapt to changing workloads, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility.
• Experience in Power BI dashboard and report development utilizing version control, performance tuning, and reusable design patterns.
• Proficient in complex DAX, including time intelligence, calculation groups, and filter context manipulation.
• Expertise in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric semantic modeling.
• Knowledge of data governance, row-level security, data classification, and access controls.
• Proficient in SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and views.
• Full-time position with a schedule of 40 hours per week.
• Exempt status.
