IT Audit Associate – Digital Risk Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Support the audit process from planning to execution for clients as part of the organization's annual audit strategy.

• Organize the audit process.

• Investigate and evaluate current processes.

• Offer suggestions to improve company policies and procedures.

• Detect issues and implement accounting principles and auditing methodologies.

• Create clear, concise, and well-organized work papers containing definitive conclusions and valuable recommendations for client communication.

• Foster positive working relationships with clients and comprehend their business requirements.

• Uphold confidentiality.

• Exhibit outstanding work habits in client settings.

• Build connections with others as part of the client service team.

• Respond to client inquiries promptly.

• Adhere to firm practice management procedures and systems.

• Anticipate challenges and keep senior management informed about engagement status and budget discrepancies.

• Seek timely feedback and support.

• Collaborate to identify and promote opportunities within existing client relationships.

• Engage in recruiting, training, and mentoring new staff and interns.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with a GPA of 3.25 or higher.

• 0-2 years of accounting experience (audit experience is preferred).

• CPA certification or significant progress towards obtaining certification.

• Excellent time and work management skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
