Director, Risk Adjustment Product – Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and operational model for Mosaic’s enterprise risk adjustment technology capabilities.

• Spearhead the development and evolution of the Burden of Illness Hub, serving as the primary orchestration capability.

• Construct the Hub for patient eligibility and prioritization, population identification, opportunity aggregation, deduplication, prioritization, work queue creation, intervention routing, status and disposition management, attribution and retention strategies, and performance analytics.

• Establish uniform rules and governance for identifying, suppressing, combining, escalating, or routing opportunities.

• Develop feedback mechanisms to enhance future prioritization processes.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Data, Architecture, and Clinical Informatics to convert requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Maintain a prioritized product backlog and roadmap.

• Ensure seamless integrations with EHRs, clinical applications, analytics platforms, data infrastructure, and operational systems.

• Assess emerging technologies that can improve the identification, prioritization, and capture of clinically relevant opportunities.

• Define ownership of execution channels, handoffs, and disposition logic across clinical technology, Navina, coding, AI, provider, attribution, and operational workflows.

• Work alongside clinical, operational, analytics, finance, compliance, and technology teams.

• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams.

• Manage vendor partnerships and assist in technology selection and evaluation processes.

• Support enterprise scaling, acquisitions, integrations, and operational transformation initiatives.

• Define and monitor operational and clinical performance metrics.

• Create executive-level reports demonstrating ROI, adoption, productivity, and quality outcomes.

• Promote continuous improvement across workflows and technology initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in risk adjustment, healthcare product management, clinical technology, data, workflow design, and value-based care economics.

• Proven experience in translating Risk Adjustment, Clinical, Operations, market, payer, and financial requirements into scalable product and technology solutions.

• Background in defining target-state architecture and developing multi-year roadmaps.

• Familiarity with product requirements, user stories, workflows, acceptance criteria, and outcome measures.

• Experience collaborating with Engineering, Data, Architecture, and Clinical Informatics teams.

• Knowledge of product governance, release planning, testing, adoption, and change management processes.

• Competence in integrating technology with EHRs, clinical applications, analytics platforms, data infrastructure, and operational systems.

• Understanding of AI, NLP, clinical inference, and automation technologies.

• Experience leading and mentoring multidisciplinary teams.

• Proven track record in managing vendor relationships and participating in technology selection and evaluation.

• Ability to utilize data and analytics to identify inefficiencies and inform prioritization decisions.

• Experience in developing executive-level reports on ROI, adoption, productivity, and quality outcomes.
