IT Administrator – Network, Virtualization, IT Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France, +7 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee the LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure.

• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and access points effectively.

• Maintain and monitor virtual environments, including VMware and Hyper-V.

• Implement and manage firewalls, antivirus solutions, and intrusion detection systems.

• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability testing, and risk analysis.

• Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards.

• Ensure adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with IT team members on various IT projects.

• Provide technical support and training to end users on topics related to networking, virtualization, and security.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in IT administration, particularly in network management, virtualization, and IT security.

• Comprehensive knowledge of networking technologies and protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.

• Practical experience with virtualization platforms like VMware, Hyper-V, or equivalent.

• Strong grasp of IT security principles, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and antivirus software.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capability to perform well under pressure.

• Proficient communication skills in both English and German.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
