This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as an Innovative Solutions Opening (ISO) Coordinator in support of ARPA-H.
• Facilitate ARPA-H's management and oversight of advanced R&D initiatives.
• Contribute to the development of future R&D concepts, programs, and solutions.
• Enhance and promote processes, policies, and enabling technologies within the healthcare ecosystem.
• Provide assistance to R&D performer teams, Government Program Managers, and stakeholders in the health innovation ecosystem.
• Aid in the creation and administration of ARPA-H programs and projects for a Mission Office portfolio.
• Support the development of solicitations and associated documentation.
• Oversee ISO proposals and manage negotiations.
• Coordinate cost proposals and technical evaluations across both the Mission Office and ARPA-H.
• Foster relationships with scientists, engineers, contracting officers, IT professionals, and other portfolio advisors.
• Convey intricate processes and concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Engage in brainstorming and problem-solving sessions to enhance the portfolio.
• A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
• A minimum of five years of professional experience is required.
• Proven understanding of Contracting and/or Procurement, ideally within a government or research setting.
• Capability to effectively track metrics and manage multiple concurrent projects and tasks.
• Proficiency in evaluating IT systems and processes, spotting optimization opportunities, and suggesting functional enhancements.
• Familiarity with information management systems such as Jira and Confluence.
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in approach.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for both internal and public audiences.
• Ability to conduct independent research, analyze data, and provide recommendations.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholder teams.
• Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team while prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Strong work ethic and a deep passion for healthcare and scientific discovery.
• U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required as per contract stipulations.
• Active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one is necessary.
• At least 1 year of experience supporting DARPA or similar Federal ARPA agencies is preferred.
• Experience with OTAs, grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements is desirable.
• Familiarity with acquisition documentation requirements (RFI, SN, BAA, J&A) and experience with each is a plus.
• Experience supporting federal or commercial health agencies/organizations is advantageous.
• Knowledge of the biomedical research landscape is beneficial.
• Two or more years of experience in Federal Healthcare and/or Scientific Consulting is preferred.
• Experience in supporting complex healthcare and research and development programs is desirable.
