This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide remote instruction in accordance with the NCCER Ironworking curriculum and standards.
• Educate students on both fundamental and advanced ironworking principles, covering topics such as structural steel, reinforcing steel, rigging, tools, equipment, and job site safety.
• Clearly and practically demonstrate hands-on ironworking techniques.
• Prepare learners for NCCER assessments and credentialing prerequisites.
• Monitor student participation, progress, and completion of coursework.
• Address inquiries and offer additional coaching or support as needed.
• Keep precise records of training and instructional activities.
• Adhere to established NCCER curriculum requirements and training standards.
• Current or prior NCCER Instructor Certification is highly preferred.
• Professional experience in roles such as Ironworker, Ironworker Foreman, Superintendent, Trainer, or a similar skilled-trades position.
• Strong understanding of structural ironworking, rigging, safety protocols, tools, and equipment.
• Prior experience in training, mentoring, or instructional roles is preferred.
• Comfortable conducting training in a fully remote setting.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts in an accessible manner.
• Reliable availability during the Monday–Friday workweek.
