iOS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Create and maintain high-quality iOS applications utilizing Swift, while following established coding standards and best practices.

• Design and develop robust user interfaces using SwiftUI or UIKit frameworks.

• Integrate RESTful APIs via URLSession or Alamofire, ensuring secure and efficient data transfer.

• Implement concurrent programming techniques with Combine or async/await to enhance application performance.

• Oversee local data persistence with Core Data, ensuring data integrity and security.

• Uphold code quality through Git version control, code reviews, and thorough documentation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish technical requirements and deliver solutions within set timelines.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues with systematic debugging, contributing to ongoing process enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in iOS development using Swift.

• Proficiency in SwiftUI or UIKit frameworks.

• Knowledge of REST API integration using URLSession or Alamofire.

• Experience in concurrent programming with Combine or async/await.

• Familiarity with Core Data for local data storage.

• Proficient in Git version control.

• Working hours will align with Eastern Time.

• Preferred: Experience in Core Bluetooth development, especially for hardware integration applications.

• Preferred: Implementation of Apple Push Notification service (APNs).

• Preferred: Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Fastlane, Xcode Cloud, or GitHub Actions.
