iOS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain high-performance native iOS applications utilizing Swift and SwiftUI.

• Incorporate intelligent product features via backend APIs.

• Design user experience patterns for real-time interactions, encompassing streaming states, progress indicators, retries, and failure recovery.

• Analyze and enhance app performance, battery efficiency, and memory management.

• Gather user signals and telemetry to facilitate ongoing model assessment and product improvement.

• Collaborate with ML and backend engineering teams to establish API contracts and system architectures.

• Maintain production quality, release standards, and App Store stability.

• Oversee the native client experience and influence how intelligent, data-driven features behave, respond, and perform for users.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional iOS development experience with Swift.

• Hands-on experience in implementing AI-driven or machine learning functionalities within mobile applications.

• In-depth understanding of Swift concurrency (async/await), memory management, and background processing.

• Proven capability to design robust client experiences addressing network latency, graceful degradation, and dynamic model responses.

• History of launching and supporting consumer-facing production applications in the App Store.

• Knowledge of on-device ML frameworks like CoreML.

• Understanding of feature flagging configurations.

• Strong product intuition with an emphasis on mobile UX and client-side reliability.

• Submission of a resume/CV is required.
