iOS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain high-performance native iOS applications utilizing Swift and SwiftUI.

• Implement intelligent product functionalities via backend APIs.

• Design user experience patterns for real-time interactions, including streaming states, progress indicators, retries, and failure recovery.

• Analyze and enhance app performance, battery usage, and memory management.

• Gather user signals and telemetry to facilitate continuous model assessment and product refinement.

• Collaborate with ML and backend engineering teams to establish API contracts and system architectures.

• Maintain stringent production quality, release standards, and App Store reliability.

• Take ownership of the native client experience for intelligent, data-driven features.

• Influence how AI functionalities are perceived, respond, and perform in users’ hands.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in iOS development using Swift.

• Hands-on experience in integrating AI-driven or machine learning features within mobile applications.

• In-depth understanding of Swift concurrency (async/await), memory management, and background processing.

• Proven ability to create resilient client experiences considering network latency, graceful degradation, and dynamic model responses.

• History of launching and supporting consumer-facing production apps on the App Store.

• Knowledge of on-device ML frameworks, such as CoreML.

• Experience with feature flagging systems.

• Strong product intuition centered on mobile UX and client-side reliability.
