iOS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain high-performance native iOS applications utilizing Swift and SwiftUI.

• Integrate advanced product features via backend APIs.

• Design user experience frameworks for real-time interactions, encompassing streaming states, progress indicators, retries, and recovery from failures.

• Analyze and enhance app performance, battery usage, and memory management.

• Gather user signals and telemetry for ongoing model assessment and product refinement.

• Collaborate with machine learning and backend engineering teams to establish API contracts and system designs.

• Maintain production quality, adhere to release standards, and ensure App Store stability.

• Oversee the native client experience for AI-driven email, calendar, and note-taking applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional iOS development experience with Swift.

• Hands-on experience implementing AI-driven or machine learning functionalities in mobile applications.

• In-depth understanding of Swift concurrency (async/await), memory management, and background processing.

• Proven ability to design resilient client experiences considering network latency, graceful degradation, and adaptive model responses.

• History of delivering and supporting consumer-facing production applications in the App Store.

• Knowledge of on-device ML frameworks, including CoreML.

• Understanding of feature flagging mechanisms.

• Strong product intuition with a focus on mobile user experience and client-side reliability.
