iOS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Albania.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain high-performance native iOS applications utilizing Swift and SwiftUI.

• Incorporate advanced product functionalities via backend APIs.

• Design user experience patterns for real-time interactions, encompassing streaming states, progress indicators, retries, and failure recovery.

• Analyze and enhance app performance, battery usage, and memory management.

• Gather user signals and telemetry to facilitate ongoing model assessment and product refinement.

• Collaborate with ML and backend engineering teams to establish API contracts and system designs.

• Maintain production quality, release standards, and ensure App Store stability.

• Take ownership of the native client experience for AI-driven productivity applications centered on email, calendars, and note-taking.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional iOS development experience with Swift.

• Hands-on experience in implementing AI-driven or machine learning functionalities within mobile applications.

• In-depth understanding of Swift concurrency (async/await), memory management, and background processing.

• Capability to design resilient client experiences accommodating network latency, graceful degradation, and dynamic model responses.

• Proven history of delivering and maintaining consumer-facing production apps in the App Store.

• Knowledge of on-device ML frameworks such as CoreML.

• Experience with feature flagging systems.

• Strong product intuition with an emphasis on mobile user experience and client-side reliability.
