This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Comprehend customer requirements and deliver wealth and investment-related sales and services to BMO clients or potential clients.
• Provide guidance to customers regarding wealth and investment strategies and products that align with their goals.
• Execute sales and service tasks in accordance with established protocols.
• Recognize and direct customers to other business divisions as necessary.
• Initiate outbound calls and proactively seek opportunities to improve the customer experience.
• Offer professional sales and service for inquiries, issues, and requests from customers and prospects.
• Investigate to understand distinct investment needs and advise customers suitably.
• Meet sales objectives centered on relevant investment offerings.
• Oversee transactional outcomes or refer issues to the appropriate internal business units.
• Elevate complex or unresolved customer issues to senior management.
• Finalize documentation following customer interactions.
• Stay updated on investment markets, practices, trends, and regulatory obligations.
• Incorporate marketing promotions and initiatives into customer discussions where appropriate.
• Ensure confidentiality of customer and Bank information.
• Detect and report suspicious activities related to money laundering.
• Comply with AML, terrorist financing, FCAC consumer protection, Privacy Act, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
• Complete a variety of complex tasks, including managing escalations from other team members.
• Assess issues and determine subsequent actions.
• Make risk-informed decisions that align with business strategy, approved policies, laws, and regulations.
• Generally 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• A post-secondary degree in a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Awareness of competitive market trends and product offerings.
• Familiarity with BMO Investment and BMO InvestorLine products and services.
• Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) / CIRO licensing is preferred.
• The Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) and Derivatives Exam must be completed within the designated timeframe to achieve full functionality.
• Understanding of Risk Management and Compliance.
• Specialized knowledge in relevant areas.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin and/or Cantonese.
