
Investigator β Grants Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +2 more countries.
β’ Create and distribute Investigator Grants for both pre- and post-award functions.
β’ Provide support to various teams involved in the delivery of Investigator Grants.
β’ Report directly to the Manager of Investigator Grants.
β’ Develop, present, and maintain Investigator Grants exports during the bidding process and the development of study templates.
β’ Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure the delivery of Investigator Grants is accurate, complete, and timely.
β’ Assist in the creation and upkeep of processes, policies, SOPs, and related documents for Investigator Grants.
β’ Offer guidance to Commercial Operations, Project Management, Business Development, Site Activation, Clinical Operations, and clients regarding forecasting strategies and risk mitigation.
β’ Analyze study protocols and coordinate with relevant departments to finalize costing strategies for protocol-driven expenses.
β’ Evaluate study budgets and costs associated with Investigator Grants operations.
β’ Engage in activities related to Commercial Operations.
β’ Carry out additional duties as assigned.
β’ Familiarity with global industry standard benchmarks and fair market value.
β’ Demonstrated experience using investigator grant software, such as GrantPlan or Grants Manager, on an international scale.
β’ Background in reviewing and comprehending study protocols, budgets, and technical, medical, and legal documents pertinent to Investigator Grants.
β’ Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment.
β’ Strong skills in planning, strategizing, managing, monitoring, scheduling, critiquing, and solving problems.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication as well as negotiation abilities.
β’ Understanding of clinical trial agreements.
β’ Proficient in document and spreadsheet software applications.
β’ Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification in business administration, law, science, or a related discipline.
β’ At least 2 years of experience in forecasting Investigator Grants.
β’ Strong knowledge of the biopharmaceutical/CRO industry and relevant local regulatory requirements.
β’ Understanding of global industry standard benchmarks, fair market value, ICH and GCP Guidelines, and local compensation and regulatory standards.
β’ Excellent proficiency in both spoken and written English.
β’ Experience with investigator grant forecasting tools, such as GrantPlan or Grants Manager, is preferred.
