This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Manage all daily inventory operations, ensuring precision, efficiency, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Conduct inventory audits and collaborate with procurement to uphold optimal inventory levels.
• Analyze and rectify inventory discrepancies.
• Perform monthly inventory reconciliation across 51 inventory sites.
• Align inventory levels and products used between SF and NAV.
• Implement annual price adjustments.
• Keep the Early Termination log updated.
• Document transfers between locations.
• Review posting and integration status of SF entries and resolve any issues.
• Adjust inventory for positive entries on work orders completed in previous months.
• Reconcile the Transfer G/L account.
• Examine auto-posted work orders for inventory and expense modifications.
• Oversee the inventory email inbox.
• Collaborate with the Director of Business Operations on month-end journal entries.
• Supervise the receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory items.
• Maintain inventory control procedures, including cycle counting and physical inventories, to achieve a system accuracy of 99% or more.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in stock counts, variances, and system data.
• Log inventory movements using appropriate software.
• Monitor inventory levels for shortages or surplus.
• Identify enhancements in inventory management, stocking, and tracking processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Generate and assess daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth material flow.
• Guarantee the physical security and organization of the inventory storage area.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Procurement Supply Chain, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in inventory management or a warehouse setting.
• Proficiency in Excel and warehouse management software.
• Ability to analyze data, spot trends, and resolve discrepancies.
• Basic communication skills are necessary.
• High level of accuracy in data entry and auditing is essential.
