This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary hub for managing inventory control of hardware assets through ServiceNow.

• Deliver comprehensive Hardware Asset Management (HAM) services to ensure precise visibility, accountability, and lifecycle management of physical IT assets.

• Monitor assets from acquisition to disposal while aiding in audit readiness.

• Oversee and document the intake, storage, and distribution of hardware and consumables in stockrooms and warehouses.

• Register, update, and audit asset records throughout their lifecycle utilizing ServiceNow.

• Facilitate hardware deployments, device refreshes, and equipment retrieval for both on-site and remote staff.

• Administer software licenses, subscriptions, and entitlements to ensure compliance with vendor agreements and federal regulations.

• Assist in the processes of asset intake, deployment, transfer, and retirement.

• Maintain asset records that are consistent with procurement and inventory data.

• Coordinate reconciliations and audits within Asset Management task areas.

• Aid in the tracking of software licenses and compliance reporting.

• Develop and maintain knowledge articles addressing common incidents and requests.

• Ensure that knowledge content is reviewed and approved prior to publication.

• Identify data inconsistencies and escalate concerns as necessary.

• Encourage the reuse of knowledge to minimize incident resolution times.

• Retire outdated or incorrect knowledge content.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience (or 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree).

• Capability to obtain and uphold a public trust that necessitates U.S. Citizenship.

• Previous experience serving as a point of contact for hardware asset management.

• Practical knowledge of using ServiceNow for tracking hardware and software assets.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
