This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Evaluate adversary actions and relay insights to clients as part of a dynamic, time-sensitive mission aimed at preventing breaches.
• Conduct research to enhance detection capabilities and deepen understanding of adversaries.
• Utilize network/host-based intrusion analysis, digital forensics, and cyber threat intelligence to discover and analyze intrusions.
• Acquire hands-on experience in engaging with state-sponsored threat actors.
• Assume responsibilities for tracking specific nation-state adversaries within CrowdStrike's extensive data repository.
• Develop tools and collaborate with other CrowdStrike teams on a wide array of topics and projects.
• Identify and comprehend intrusions using Falcon Endpoint data and the broader CrowdStrike product suite.
• Proven experience in network/host-based intrusion analysis, digital forensics, or cyber threat intelligence.
• Experience in threat hunting and/or intrusion analysis utilizing endpoint telemetry.
• Familiarity with the motivations and TTPs of nation-state adversaries.
• Capable of conveying complex or technical information to a variety of stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of at least one major operating system type.
• Awareness of current and emerging threats, with the ability to demonstrate practical knowledge in security research.
• Established experience in leveraging AI technologies to enhance decision-making, optimize workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business results.
• Knowledge of fundamentals related to identity and/or cloud security.
• Familiarity with operating systems beyond Windows (Linux, Mac).
• Experience in a security operations center or similar setting, monitoring threat actors or responding to incidents.
• Published research or findings presented at conferences or through other non-academic platforms (blogs, articles).
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience is preferred.
