Interpreter, Georgian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Respond to calls in a professional manner, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be prepared to take notes during calls.

• Have a solid understanding of the specific vocabulary related to the healthcare and medical fields.

• Ensure precise and complete rendering of all messages, without adding, omitting, or substituting content.

• Deliver the highest standard of customer service during interpretation sessions.

• Facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients by providing accurate and complete message interpretation.

• Apply established standards of practice.

• Participate in internal professional training.

• Show eagerness to obtain new professional certifications.

• Communicate and provide reports to your team leader.

• Adhere to dress code requirements for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the source language (English) and a native speaker of the target language "Georgian."

• At least 1 year of telephone interpretation experience with a reputable interpretation company.

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.

• Familiarity with legal terminology is advantageous.

• International certifications in the healthcare sector are a plus (e.g., PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• High school diploma in your native language.

• Possess high emotional intelligence and tolerance for diverse cultures.

• Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
