Internship – Automation & Tooling for Active Safety

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain an automated evaluation toolchain for vehicle measurement data utilizing Python.

• Create test cases and analysis plugins to assess recorded driving data against specifications, including homologation criteria under UN R152.

• Contribute to the data pipeline and cloud-based evaluation services on Azure.

• Manage tasks comprehensively, encompassing pull requests, code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.

• Align the toolchain with ongoing testing campaigns within the team.

• Assist in the development and validation of predictive Active Safety functions in the ADAS domain.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in electrical engineering, software engineering, computer science, robotics, physics, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of software development and deployment processes.

• Familiarity with Clean Code and SOLID principles.

• Experience with Git/GitHub workflows, including pull requests, code reviews, and continuous integration.

• Knowledge of software testing methodologies.

• Proficient in Python or experienced with another programming language, such as Rust or Java.

• Passion for AI-assisted software development and coding tools like Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.

• Capable of working independently and reliably, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English is required.
