Internship – Automation & Tooling for Active Safety

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain an automated evaluation toolchain for vehicle measurement data utilizing Python.

• Create test cases and analysis plugins that assess recorded driving data against specified requirements, including UN R152 homologation standards.

• Engage in the data pipeline and cloud-based evaluation services on Azure.

• Deliver work in a comprehensive manner through pull requests, code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure the toolchain aligns with ongoing testing initiatives.

• Assist in the development and validation of predictive Active Safety functions within ADAS.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in electrical/software engineering, computer science, robotics, physics, or a related discipline.

• Strong grasp of clean code practices and SOLID principles.

• Familiarity with Git/GitHub processes, including pull requests, code reviews, continuous integration, and testing.

• Proficient in Python or another programming language, such as Rust or Java.

• Passion for AI-assisted development and coding tools, like Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.

• Capable of debugging and resolving issues independently.

• Demonstrates an autonomous and dependable working style.

• Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential.
