Internship – Actuarial, Data Science, Product Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Engage in 2–3 projects focused on actuarial science, data analytics, or product services.

• Create, sustain, assess, modify, and improve current processes and tools.

• Collaborate with experienced actuaries, data scientists, and product experts.

• Gain insights into the intricacies of the insurance industry.

• Assist in initiatives that promote efficiency, accuracy, and innovation within Commercial Lines operations.

• Work across various sectors including Commercial Lines and Financial Lines, such as Auto, General Liability, Property, Umbrella, Workers’ Compensation, Cyber, Professional Liability, and Management Liability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant coursework or exams in actuarial science or data science are advantageous.

• Data Science: Experience with R or Python coding; familiarity with statistical and web development packages is a plus.

• Actuarial and Product: Proficiency in Excel or R is mandatory.

• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.

• Capacity to manage time efficiently and work independently.
