International Lead Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Plan, organize, and execute audits for management systems and Factory Production Control related to certification schemes.

• Evaluate compliance with ISO standards, scheme specifications, and applicable industry criteria.

• Generate precise and clear audit reports and submit them within the established timelines.

• Examine corrective actions and responses to non-conformities identified during audits.

• Cultivate professional relationships with clients while ensuring audit independence.

• Oversee the audit schedule and travel logistics to achieve operational goals.

• Assist in the development of certification services and engage with new customers.

• Represent BRE during client interactions, observed audits, and accreditation processes.

• Work remotely and travel frequently to client locations both in the UK and internationally.

⛳️ Requirements

• A background in engineering, quality management, manufacturing, or a related technical field.

• Experience in manufacturing settings, especially within electronics, chemicals, polymers, metalworking, or comparable industries.

• Familiarity with ISO management systems auditing, particularly ISO 9001.

• Understanding of management system standards, Factory Production Control processes, and certification prerequisites.

• Strong organizational, planning, and report-writing capabilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to make informed, evidence-based decisions.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a broader team.

• Willingness and capability to travel internationally for extended durations, sometimes up to two weeks or longer.

• Lead Auditor qualification is beneficial but not mandatory.

• ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and/or ISO 45001 auditor qualifications are advantageous but not essential.

• Knowledge of BRE certification schemes, BS EN standards, or related industry requirements is a plus but not required.
