International Baccalaureate (IB) Teacher – Independent Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Instruct 25-minute, one-on-one online English lessons for children aged 5–12.

• Present dynamic lessons utilizing Nao Now's established curriculum.

• Implement age-appropriate, inquiry-based, and student-centered teaching methods.

• Foster curiosity, critical thinking, communication, and independent thought.

• Relate classroom discussions to real-world subjects and the interests of students.

• Assist students in articulating their ideas clearly and confidently in English.

• Establish a positive, supportive, and interactive virtual learning atmosphere.

• Offer constructive lesson feedback following each class.

• Maintain a professional, energetic, and encouraging presence on camera.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a native English speaker.

• Possess a Bachelor's degree or provide evidence of current enrollment in a bachelor's program.

• Have experience working with children between the ages of 5 and 12.

• Be familiar with International Baccalaureate (IB) programs and teaching methodologies.

• Have a strong grasp of student-centered and inquiry-based learning principles.

• Exhibit excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Be available for a minimum of 10 teaching hours each week.

• Have availability Monday through Friday, from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM KST.

• Commit to a minimum of 3 months.

• Maintain consistent weekly availability.

• Ensure a reliable wired internet connection with at least 60 Mbps speed.

• Provide a quiet, professional teaching environment.

• Use a headset, preferably with noise-cancelling features.

• Utilize a wired ethernet connection.

• Ensure a stable internet connection.

• Create a professional, distraction-free workspace.

• Have access to a reliable webcam and headset.

• Access a U.S. bank account or be able to use Wise international transfers for payments.
