Internal Audit Intern, Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Implement quarterly sales cutoff processes to ensure accurate accounting treatment, guaranteeing that equipment revenue is recorded in the appropriate period and backed by necessary documentation.

• Support substantive procedures for the external auditor's year-end audit.

• Contribute to financial and SOX compliance audit projects.

• Document and communicate audit findings with audit managers.

• Engage in special projects and perform additional duties as needed.

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Accounting or a related field.

• Strong time management skills.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Capability to plan and organize activities effectively.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills.

• Proficient verbal and written communication abilities.

• Ability to handle confidential and highly sensitive information.

• Experience working in a team-oriented environment.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Travel requirements are typically less than 10%.

• No specific physical demands are required.
