Internal Audit Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing for designated business process controls under the guidance of a lead.

• Document SOX testing activities, including methodologies applied, evidence examined, sample selections, testing outcomes, and conclusions, following Internal Audit standards.

• Collaborate with Internal Audit colleagues and business process stakeholders to request evidence, clarify documentation, follow up on outstanding items, and address testing inquiries.

• Partner with Internal Audit team members on routine departmental tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Progressing towards a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.

• Must be a rising junior or senior.

• Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029.

• Availability to work 40 hours per week for 10–12 weeks during the summer.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization.

• Preference for candidates located in the Central or Eastern US time zone, or those willing to work during Central or Eastern time zone business hours.

• Previous internship experience is advantageous.

• Experience balancing education with part-time employment during the academic year is preferred.

• Involvement in university clubs is favored.

• Must currently have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

• The company does not plan to sponsor work visas for this role or for future full-time positions.
