Intern Software Engineer – C/C++

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop user-space and kernel code in Linux to enable 32-bit drivers to perform DMA with 64-bit virtual memory spaces utilizing Intel and AMD IOMMU controllers.

• Interact with ASIC registers via SPI, SMBus, PCIe, and I2C protocols.

• Create high-resolution timers achieving sub-100ns accuracy.

• Interpret ASIC hardware specifications and collect near-real-time data on extensive packet flows.

• Produce statistics related to network congestion.

• Design configuration-management services utilizing Go and Python.

• Provide support for YANG, OpenConfig, NETCONF, and RESTCONF protocols over gRPC, SSH, and SSL for standardized switch configurations.

• Utilize tools such as Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Slack, and Trello.

• Construct BGP, OSPF, and ISIS routing protocol agents in C/C++ within a Linux embedded environment.

• Develop fault-tolerant, concurrent agents suitable for high-performance and highly available data centers.

• Contribute to a fully automated, Python-based continuous testing framework featuring hundreds of devices under test.

• Internship or graduate engineering position available on the Platform team.

• A strong eagerness and aptitude for programming.

• Familiarity or interest in C, C++, networking, Linux embedded systems, or algorithms.
