Intern, Health Economics and Outcomes Research

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist in conducting systematic literature reviews and synthesizing evidence across various healthcare topics.

• Contribute to the design and execution of health economic models.

• Aid in the interpretation and communication of both quantitative and qualitative findings to internal and external stakeholders.

• Support the creation of memos, reports, evidence tables, presentations, and peer-reviewed articles.

• Engage in client-facing meetings and provide administrative assistance for ongoing projects.

• Collaborate with leadership to improve internal workflows and enhance operational efficiency.

• Research and propose optimal methodologies and implementation strategies.

• Maintain and refresh tools and documentation to ensure alignment with best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree (preferred) in a healthcare-related field.

• Demonstrated enthusiasm for healthcare research, health policy, or economics.

• Experience in research disciplines such as economics, public policy, epidemiology, public health, or operations research.

• Strong attention to detail paired with excellent time management abilities.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.

• Willingness to learn and share knowledge with others.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking capabilities.

• Solid academic track record.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Formal training in quantitative and/or qualitative research methodologies.

• Familiarity with statistical programming tools such as R, SAS, or similar platforms.

• Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the country of employment without the need for employer sponsorship.
