Intern – Data Engineer, AI, Databricks, SQL, Python, Governance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop data pipelines in a cloud environment utilizing Python, Spark, and SQL on the Databricks platform.

• Assist in creating data and analytics proofs of concept within Databricks.

• Conduct ad-hoc data analyses using various data sources, including project management data from Jira and others.

• Support the documentation of data quality checks, access controls, and data governance protocols.

• Contribute to establishing a systematic approach for documenting data assets to enhance discoverability.

• Collaborate with seasoned Data Engineers in the Artificial Intelligence team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Economics, or Engineering, in your junior or senior year.

• Strong oral and written communication abilities.

• Passion for working collaboratively with a large team of data science professionals on innovative projects.

• Basic understanding of essential machine learning concepts, whether acquired through your studies or self-education.

• Ability to provide a dedicated and secure workspace.

• Must ensure high-speed internet access/connectivity and maintain an office setup.
