Intermediate Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee a mobile development team tasked with adapting a POS system for a new market.

• Ensure team activities align with project objectives.

• Provide effective management of personnel.

• Guarantee compliance with Scrum principles.

• Facilitate Scrum events and guide the team in implementing Scrum practices.

• Conduct individual meetings and offer support to team members.

• Manage communication with stakeholders to align priorities and ensure successful project outcomes.

• Monitor project progress and metrics, ensuring comprehensive reporting.

• Adjust team priorities based on task assessments and feedback from stakeholders.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment.

• Foster open and transparent communication within the team.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation.

• Support the alignment of team activities with the project scope, deliverables, and goals as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW).

• Assist with budget planning and resource allocation as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of project management experience with a strong understanding of project management theory and tools.

• Excellent people management and team facilitation abilities.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration.

• Proficient in metrics such as predictability, estimation, velocity, capacity, and change request volume.

• Exceptional reporting skills with practical experience.

• Solid comprehension of Scrum with prior experience in facilitating Scrum events.

• Ability to multitask and effectively manage priorities.

• Strong problem-solving abilities; capable of adapting, following instructions, and accepting guidance.

• Open-minded, stakeholder-focused, and approachable demeanor.

• Upper-Intermediate proficiency in English.

• Familiarity with Statement of Work (SOW) processes and documentation is a plus.

• Experience in budget planning is advantageous.
