Intermediate Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Design, analyze, develop, modify, and troubleshoot CSG product applications.

• Conduct release testing and address any identified issues.

• Collaborate with end users to establish requirements.

• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation.

• Provide assistance with on-site client matters as needed.

• Collaborate with team members on complex software development projects.

• Create software in accordance with established requirements.

• Work closely with Business Analysts and customers to clarify requirements and eliminate ambiguity.

• Design and execute unit tests based on approved low-level designs.

• Create implementation scripts and deploy software in both test and production environments.

• Engage in team meetings, offering insights on designs, challenges, risks, interdependencies, and related topics.

• Mentor peers in specific areas of expertise.

• Contribute knowledge to internal wikis and document management systems.

• Lead team training sessions to share knowledge and experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in software engineering or equivalent experience, with expertise in Telecommunications Provisioning and Assurance domains.

• Proficient in English within a business context.

• Over 3 years of software development experience with modern Java SE 8 or later.

• Familiarity with Linux, macOS, and Docker development environments.

• Proficiency in SQL, PostgreSQL, and/or MyBatis.

• Understanding of Apache Kafka, GraphQL, and REST API frameworks.

• Knowledge of Business Process Management and rules libraries such as Camunda, Activiti, or Drools.

• Experience with development, packaging, and release toolchains including GitHub, Maven, and Kubernetes.
