
Intermediate Cathodic Protection Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Plan and execute technical responsibilities in support of designated projects
• Test, assess, rectify, and install cathodic protection systems
• Adhere to relevant procedures and standards to identify and resolve issues in cathodic protection and AC mitigation systems
• Conduct a variety of field surveys and evaluations
• Complete installations of cathodic protection systems
• Keep thorough field documentation
• Provide on-site evaluations of inspection findings along with recommendations
• Create sketches of CP system components and electrical diagrams
• Operate independently with moderate supervision or collaborate as part of a project team
• Follow procedures and specifications relevant to the scope of work
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• A minimum of 1-3 years of field experience in cathodic protection
• AMPP/NACE CP2 - Cathodic Protection Technician certification (mandatory) - Must pass both theory and practical examinations
• NACE CP2 certification
• High school diploma
• Training or experience with rectifiers
